How about you? There Goes My Baby can be found on Usher’s certified smash album Raymond v. 'There Goes My Baby' is a song by American singer Usher. Out of all of Usher’s recent work, this is my favorite.
#USHER THERE GOES MY BABY MOVIE#
I get the chills whenever I see your face And you in the place girl Feel like I’m in a movie baby I’m like oowee baby oh Like waterfalls your hair falls down to your waist Can I get. With Jim Jonsin’s very ‘90s-sounding melodies and dashes of synth as a backdrop (‘90s=good, by the way), and the prodigious Rico Love lending some writing help, Usher’s voice floats, dives, and soars nicely enough to have us forgive him for his divorce anthem, Papers, and for refusing to cast me as a stage decoration in his Lil’ Freak video (his loss). There goes my baby (oo girl look at you) You don’t know how good it feels to call you my girl There goes my baby Loving everything you do Oo girl look at you. Remember back in elementary school, when even though you were cast as a stage decoration with no lines in the school play, your mother was still the loudest person in the auditorium, screaming “There goes my baby!”? (No? Maybe it was just me.) Well, that’s just how Usher feels about his lady, minus the generation gap and blood relation, on his newest single There Goes My Baby, a cut so fantastically soulful it takes the singer back to his glorious 8701 days.
